“Before TrueCoders, I graduated from Auburn and went to New York. I did some odd jobs here and there, handing out fliers. Eventually, I worked my way into an office position. I started off doing business development. I went to local businesses and bought counter space. I worked my way up to a product management position where I was working with software developers every day. I knew that software development was something I wanted to do. I just needed to find a way to get into the field. I looked at several boot camps in New York. Many of them didn't offer career services after graduating though, and the ones that did were too expensive. I researched boot camps in Alabama and thought TrueCoders sounded like the best choice. Once I came in and talked to Josh, I knew that they cared about their students, which was very reassuring. Going into something new was scary, but after the first couple of weeks, it wasn't anymore. The pace that the class is taught at keeps people from falling behind. Even when I did, I could stay after class. I had teachers and other classmates who were always there to help. Going through TrueCoders was a great experience and the best thing I've done for my career. Now I'm working as a web developer at Healthgrades!"
